Jimmi’s Journey: From Surveying to Capturing Nature Through a Lens
- Who we are
Jimmi graduated as a surveyor. During that time, his passion for gardens and horticulture continued to grow, leading him to spend a year working for a private landscaping company.
In 2014, he joined the team at Locanda Le Piazze. Around the same time, he discovered a passion for photography, particularly aerial photography and videography using drone technology.
Over the years, Jimmi has expanded his knowledge well beyond photography. He has learned about beekeeping, trained as a honey sommelier, and gained hands on experience in olive cultivation and vineyard care. A devoted dog lover, he has a natural connection with animals, and they seem to love him just as much.
Jimmi feels most at home in nature. Whether cycling through the Tuscan countryside, hiking woodland trails, or capturing fleeting moments with his camera, he is happiest outdoors.
Admired by colleagues and friends alike, Jimmi is known for his kindness, unwavering positivity, and generous spirit. He is always ready to lend a helping hand, approaches every challenge with enthusiasm, and brings warmth and good humor wherever he goes. His quiet dedication and genuine care for both people and nature make him a valued member of the One Belvedere family.
About Jimmi
I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors, but once I got here, I began my journey of growth and really explored my passions.
When did you find out you wanted to do your craft and pursue your passion?
I really enjoy being in contact with nature and I especially love capturing what I see and do every day with my camera.
What do you like most about your work?
To always have confidence in yourself and your abilities.
What are the most valuable things you’ve been taught to get to where you are now?
The support and trust I received early on because of my passion. If I am the person I am today, it is because of this place.
What is unique about the environment you work in? What can you find here you can’t find elsewhere?
I would advise being flexible and not fixating on one role. It is important to be able to multitask and be proactive, actively seeking out new opportunities and new facets of your role.
What advice would you give someone who would consider entering the business?
Seeing the world through the lens of my camera, capturing the moments of my life.
