However, the town center of Poggibonsi is well connected by regional trains and buses, making it easy to reach nearby destinations.
Train Connections
The Poggibonsi – San Gimignano railway station offers regional services operated by Trenitalia with connections to:
- Siena – approx. 25/30 minutes
- Florence (via Empoli connection)
Tickets can be purchased at the station or through the official app.
Bus Connections
Regional buses operated by Autolinee Toscane connect Poggibonsi with:
- San Gimignano – approx. 20/25 minutes
- Colle di Val d’Elsa – approx. 15 minutes
- Other Chianti and Siena province destinations
The main bus stop is located next to the railway station.
